The new HomeGlide outdoor stairlift is available to buy from Dolphin Stairlifts. The HomeGlide external stairlift is built to last and has excellent weather protection including a protected rack and pinion and rubber drive cover.

Hinged Tracks for Straight Stairlifts

If there is a door or passageway at the bottom of the stairs then it is likely that you will need a folding track or hinged rail stairlift. This means that the bottom section of the rail can be folded out of the way when the lift is not being used.

A hinged track stairlift allows you to gain access to a door that would be blocked by a normal rail and also means that there is no tripping hazard if you have an open hallway downstairs.

Flow Stairlifts for Curved Stairs

Dolphin are pleased to announce the addition of Flow Stairlifts for curved stairs to their product portfolio. If your staircase is very narrow, the Advanced Ride Monitoring System of the Flow's powered swivel feature turns the chair and footrest to clear the narrowest staircase sections. Theoretically it is possible to install the lift  on a staircase as narrow as 61cm.

The Flow Stairlifts single rail system is one of the most technologically advanced on the market. The rail can be installed on either side of the stairs and is designed to stay as close to the staircase as possible. A drop nose (or droop nose) rail option is available if there is an obstruction, such as a door, at the bottom of the stairs.
